  Well I finally resigned as an elder - Phew.

  thats right, about 2 weeks ago i confronted the po and told him i just could not do it anymore.. i genuinely have been under alot of pressure recently with my work so i used this as the pitch.

  he was not happy but i received little resistance, which suited me.

  i handed him my letter last week before i went on holiday.. i have to say it is a great weight off my shoulders, no book study, meetings for ministry, talks, public talks etc etc.. i will no doubt be the subject of local congregation gossip!

  i once served as well, it was a burden lifted, so much overworked and if i complained or didnt take a task i was weak,

  here, they decided to pick up the trash only once every 2 weeks from now on in the winter time......gee, years ago, they picked it up twice a week... .

  just the rats will enjoy this....

  A service story

  this story starts out as any old day in service.

  as one of only four regular pioneers in the congregation, i often found myself in car groups where i was the only male person.

  some of the older sisters in the hall were tolerable, and others weren't so much.

  god is either not helping, or not there, debatable, yes, but one thing i know for sure, we have to keep a godly sense of responsibility in each of us to combat all the negative traits that seem to overcome so many in this world, i would say evil, but that would imply i think everyone is evil and i dont, just severly misguided , like we once were!

  he said if she had a child, he would never marry, and he didnt tell this to the author, he told this to his brother who then told the author, and yes i suspect , they had no children together.

  why care about spiritual things?

  i see most of all of you speak in different opinions of what is or may be true spiritual things (while a few ar just freezing cold or dead spiritualy), but i ask all of you, why even bother to care or pretend to care of spiritual things?.

  in spite of everything said here good or bad, right or wrong, if you are a loyal , and you say you are , jw, you should turn yourself in for apostacy, you well know , you rae not supposed to even say a greeting to such ones, it is a df offense, and yet here you are still talking to df'd people, a df offense, you are not a true follower, you have committed 2 disfellowing acts , just being here and commenting, will you turn yourself in ? in good conscience , if we were active we should at least 2 of us, turn you in, brother!!

  if not then you are making up new rules for yourself, like all jw do!!!
